What is JUKI?
JUKI Manufacturing Technologies with Global Spread
JUKI launched its household and industrial sewing machinery business in 1945, just seven years after its founding in Chofu-shi, Tokyo in 1938. As a company born just after the end of the war, it began “manufacturing” in support of peace.
JUKI’s technologies have come to fascinate the world in the years since. JUKI is now the world’s leading comprehensive manufacturer of industrial sewing machines that support the apparel industry.
According to its corporate slogan behind JUKI’s success, “Mind & Technology,” JUKI manufactures with a “customer-first” philosophy. Every JUKI employee strives to improve the quality of their work and hone their skills while imagining the joy of the users of JUKI products.

Five Businesses Fields Supporting JUKI
JUKI offers 10 major products and systems to five markets in five business fields. As a B-to-B business, JUKI offers industrial sewing machines and IoT platform devices and systems to sewing factories; various equipment necessary for production to PCB mounting factories; contracted development and manufacturing, automated warehouses, inspection machines to manufacturing factories and logistics companies; and service robots.
In addition, JUKI is expanding the development and sale of household sewing machines as its only B-to-C business.
JUKI supports the development of customers and markets by providing innovation (products) and solving problems (solutions).

Headquartered in Japan, JUKI operates in more than 100 locations mainly in Japan and overseas and continues to expand the global presence of all of its businesses.JUKI began exporting its industrial sewing machines products in 1957. Today, almost five decades later, JUKI continues to serve the world’s many overseas sewing factories on an expanding scale.According to one story, the first Japanese person ever seen in Eastern Europe was a JUKI employee.JUKI has been expanding its business globally since its pioneer days, starting with the opening of a representative office in Hong Kong in 1958. The Company made its first entries into Europe in 1964, the United States in 1966, and China in 1980. JUKI products are now used in 185 countries and regions.

Everyone in the world needs “food, clothing, and shelter.”Sewing machines have a global market as essential tools for the creation of “clothing,” the garments that we wear to express our individuality and protect us from cold and heat.JUKI’s technology goes into the creation of apparel, interior design, and the various products with “seams” to be found in cities around the world.
In parallel, the surface mounting technology (SMT) used for manufacturing “electronic circuit boards” engaged in JUKI’s Electronics Assembly & Systems Businesses are also applied to smartphones, electrical appliances, medical equipment, and other products that make our lives more comfortable.

JUKI’s Future
JUKI Formulates a Management Plan to Become a Company that Lasts 90 to 100 Years.
In the process of becoming a 100-year company, JUKI has formulated and launched a five-year Medium-term Management Plan (2025-2029), “Building a Sustainable JUKI.”
In the first three years of this Medium-term Management Plan, we aim to shift our business model into growth fields and boost our presence as a strategic partner by emphasizing the outstanding character of JUKI products, services, and more.
In the remaining two years we aim to become a “one and only solution partner that supports the future of ‘clothing’ and society,” further deepen the business model we have nurtured over the first three years, and grow sustainably.

Participating in JUKI’s Management
Shareholders are entitled to attend the General Meeting of Shareholders held in March of every year.Shareholders who hold one unit (100 shares) or more can participate in JUKI’s corporate management by exercising their voting rights on matters to be resolved at the General Meeting of Shareholders.
