Materiality

The JUKI Group analyzes the various risks and opportunities that exist in today’s changing external environment and identifies priority issues based on the perspectives of both JUKI and its stakeholders.
JUKI creates social and business value by tackling social challenges head-on through its business.

Specific processes

Step1

Organizing social challenges

JUKI organizes the challenges that significantly impact the company and its stakeholders, as well as challenges whose resolution will substantially contribute to the enhancement of JUKI’s corporate value, based on analyses of risks and opportunities in the current business environment.

Step2

Identifying critical social challenges

JUKI organizes social challenges and identifies the “critical social challenges” to be addressed in the context of its own policies and activities.

Step3

Incorporating initiatives to solve the critical social challenges into the Medium-term Management Plan

Initiatives to solve the critical social challenges JUKI identifies will be discussed at the Management Strategy Council and incorporated into the Medium-term Management Plan.
