Materiality
As the business environment continues to change significantly, JUKI has identified priority issues from the perspectives of both JUKI and its stakeholders.
JUKI has established a materiality matrix based on the concept of "double materiality ", which considers both the impacts of environmental and social issues on the company and the impacts of the company's activities on the environment and society.
Through efforts to enhance the sustainability of both JUKI and society, JUKI aims to realize a "Sustainable JUKI ".
Materiality Identification Process
1
Identification of sustainability issues
Identifying issues based on key megatrends expected to drastically transform the business environment, items to be addressed by the GRI standards, risks and opportunities in the business environment, roles expected of stakeholders, etc.
2
Evaluation of sustainability issues
Evaluating the importance of the identified sustainability issues based on the perspectives of JUKI and its stakeholders
3
Identification of materiality
