Sustainable Future
Building on the achievements and expertise cultivated through sewing technology, the JUKI Group is committed to continuing as a company that supports the sustainability of both clothing and society. For more than 85 years, particularly in the field of clothing, we have provided solutions around the world that enable the stable production of high-quality garments through superior products and services.
Today, the world faces a wide range of social challenges. As a company dedicated to creating products and value, the JUKI Group will continue to address these challenges one by one. Through technological innovation and our collective strengths, we will support the future of clothing and society while striving to build a sustainable world. We are committed to pursuing products and services that minimize environmental impact and to fulfilling our responsibility as a manufacturing company by protecting and preserving the global environment.
Sustainability Policies
With this end in sight, JUKI will act in accordance with its “Corporate Philosophy,” “Basic Management Policies,” and “Corporate Code of Conduct” to sustainably enhance its corporate value.
Sustainability Promotion Structure
The JUKI Group has established a Sustainability Promotion Committee chaired by the Representative Director & President. The mission of this committee is to solve social challenges and achieve sustainable growth for the entire JUKI Group by incorporating the concept of “sustainability”—the idea that the “environment,” “society,” and “economy” will continue to exist in the future with no loss of their current value—into the business activities of the JUKI Group.
The Sustainability Promotion Committee meets four times a year to deliberate and decide on sustainability policies, plans, and measures, manage progress, and report and make proposals to the Board of Directors and other relevant bodies.
The Sustainability Promotion Committee, the Management Strategy Council, and the Risk Management Conference work together to formulate long-term corporate strategies to strengthen governance and promote management based on a sustainability perspective.
