The JUKI Group has been providing outstanding products, services and solutions that enable a stable supply of quality-sewn clothing for more than 85 years. The world today faces pressing social issues of all kinds. As a manufacture and value-creator, the JUKI Group will continue to address these issues one by one and support the “clothing-conscious society” of tomorrow with its technological innovation and comprehensive strengths.

Medium-term Management Plan
(How)
Along its journey to becoming a 100-year company, JUKI has formulated and launched a new five-year Medium-term Management Plan: “Building a Sustainable JUKI.”
In the first three years of this Medium-term Management Plan, JUKI will develop a new business model shifted to growth fields and become a strategic partner with a powerful presence undergirded by JUKI's distinctive qualities.
In the final two years of the plan, JUKI will become a “one and only solution partner that supports the clothing-conscious society of the future” in order to promote sustainable growth by reinforcing the business model developed over the first three years.
Our starting point
The Spirit of JUKI’s Foundation
With the ending of the war in 1945, JUKI lost its core business and laid off all of its employees. Tasked with the new mission of contributing to peace, the company regrouped its employees and started rebuilding. The spirit of JUKI’s founding embodied the company’s attitude at that time.
In the 185 countries it now works with, with their diverse histories and cultures, JUKI continues to expand the possibilities of manufacturing and enrich and support people both economically and mentally.
Corporate Slogan
“Mind & Technology” are the words of Kenichi Yamaoka, JUKI’s third president, a man who helped JUKI survive by building the foundations of the company’s sewing machine manufacturing business. JUKI’s strength lies in its ability to provide “technology from the heart,” as reflected in its corporate slogan.
“Mind” in Japanese means not just intelligence, but a consciousness that thinks and acts from the customer's point of view. “Mind” has been integral to JUKI since its founding.

JUKI has worked hand in hand with customers to create world-class JUKI Quality since its founding. Never a one-way communicator, JUKI innovates and plans out the best path forward together with its customers.
