JUKI CORPORATION will be showcasing its products and services in the largest exhibition booth at JIAM 2024 OSAKA, a major international sewing machinery trade fair in Japan. The four-day event will be held at INTEX Osaka (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City) from Wednesday, November 27 to Saturday, November 30, 2024.
First held in 1984 as the “Japan International Apparel Machinery Show,” JIAM will widen its scope from this year onward as the “Japan International Apparel & Non-Apparel Manufacturing Technology Trade Show.” The new name reflects the exhibition’s expanding focus beyond apparel into non-apparel industries such as automotive manufacturing and industrial materials, along with the rapidly growing software and service sectors.
In keeping with the “JUKI Smart Solutions” slogan and the JUKI exhibition theme, “Innovation for your Sustainable Future” (innovation that connects customer businesses to a sustainable future), JUKI will be showcasing a range of apparel and non-apparel machines and software and services focused on automation, digitalization, and networking. As exhibition highlights, JUKI’s newest products will be unveiled on the main stage.
Along with our concrete proposals for Smart Solutions, the installations will reveal how JUKI’s comprehensive capabilities and multifaceted activities help customers make their businesses sustainable.

Theme : Innovation for your Sustainable Future
Since introducing the JUKI Smart Solutions concept in 2016, we have been providing a steady stream of automation, digitalization and networking solutions to build Smart Factories. Under JUKI’s JIAM 2024 theme of “Innovation for your Sustainable Future” (innovation that connects customer businesses to a sustainable future), we will be presenting past and upcoming JUKI initiatives while demonstrating our newest product debuts.

■ New Products
The biggest products to debut at JIAM 2024 include the LK-1900C series digital machines, the DDL-8000C electronic feed length control system, and the LZ-2280B zigzag stitching machine series.
■ Software and Services
Visitors will also learn about a range of service and software products, such as JaNets (machine operation management system), JUKI e-learning, and JUKI – ShuHaRi, through demonstrations.
■ Apparel
Edge control seamers on the theme of automation, and sewing machines and automatic machines for jeans, shirts, and knitwear by item.
■ Non-apparel
Along with the AMS and PLK series (electronic cycle machines with input functions) for automobiles and safe material handling, visitors will be introduced to JUKI’s integrated feed and up-and-down feed devices for large hook machines.
■ Pattern Seamers
Sixteen pattern seamers will go on exhibit, including one dedicated-use machine for adhesive application and 15 machines designed to handle wide-ranging sewing products and processes. The exhibit will also demonstrate how these machines integrate with JUKI’s automated and robotic conveyance systems. On-site presenters will introduce 30 types of pattern templates and answer visitor’s questions about template creation.
■ SDGs
Visitors will learn about JUKI’s SDG materiality, upcycling activities, and the unique product certification system JUKI established to achieve carbon neutrality (along with the LK-1900C, JUKI’s first certified product).
■ JIN
Four JUKI International brand products (models sold exclusively overseas) will be introduced: two for apparel and two for non-apparel.

High-speed Electronic Bartacking Sewing System
A full model change of the LK-1900BN.Operability has been improved by increasing the number of sewing patterns and enhancing fabric setting.The maximum sewing speed of 3,300 sti/min, which is one of the highest in the world, is achieved, noise is reduced by about 40%, power consumption is reduced by 26%, and the machine is certified as the first JUKI SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS * machine.

■ DDL-8000C
Direct-drive, High-speed, 1-Needle, Lockstitch Sewing Machine with an Automatic Thread Trimmer (Electronic Feed Length Control System)
The stitch length can be set using the panel, and both condensed and decorative stitches can be easily performed. Sensor control of the presser foot lift lightens the knee lift operation, and a wider throat space reduces the burden in processes that require frequent fabric handling. The machine also adopts an improved oil-supply method to promise efficient lubrication with zero risk of oil leaks.

Automatic Waist Elastic Joining Machine
The color code recognition system accurately identifies the logo position, allowing the user to place the logo at the location set on the panel while joining the waist elastic.
■ AG-120
Automatic Waist Elastic Attaching Machine
The machine detects the seam and automatically sets the waist elastic at the sewing start position. By presetting the waist elastic, overlap work is easily performed.
■ MOL-254N
2-Needle Auto-belter
This automatic machine performs bar tacking in two places with only one setup of the fabric. With the new presser foot, the cut length of the belt loops can be shortened, eliminating sewing defects such as dog-ears and skipped stitches in drop stitching.

2-Needle, Top- and Bottom-Feed Chainstitch Sewing System
The user can reduce the setup time during project changeovers by setting the upper thread tension on the panel to suit the sewing conditions. The machine also excels in the sewing of heavy-weight materials. Setting the alternating top-and-bottom movement smoothens the transition over multi-layered sections.

Machine Head Rotation Pattern Seamer/Decorative Sewing Specifications
The machine head rotates with a dry needle bar, enabling perfect stitching in all directions. Though small, the machine has a sewing area large enough for most decorative sewing and airbag sewing projects.

Pattern Seamer/Automatic Transport Device Specifications
With workers stationed to the left and right of the PS, alternate templates can be supplied automatically, enabling efficient sewing with a single machine. For large size pattern seamers, an automatic transport device can be installed as a customization option.

Pattern Seamer/Placket and Pocket Attachment
The table surface is equipped with a vacuum device. A dual configuration with both the vacuum device and a rotary knife cutting device enables the attachment of plackets and pockets.
