JUKI high speed Flexible Mounter LX-8 Evolves Achieving compatibility between high speed and versatility through a newly developed “Planet head P20S”
JUKI Corporation (Head Office: Tama City, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as “JUKI”) will launch a high-speed flexible mounter LX-8” with placement of a newly developed high speed head model “Planet head P20S※1″ in Japan and overseas from September 2nd.Following the highly versatile “TAKUMI head※2 spec” launched in August 2023, we have added a lineup of “Planet head P20S spec” that realizes high-speed placement to realize the highest speed placement and high area production in the 2 head spec.
The planet head P20S supports the miniaturization and densification of component by enabling 0.2mm×0.1mm～5mm angle of placement of a very small tip.
Tip placement rates boast the highest level of 105,000CPH※3.
By freely combining the Planet head P20S and TAKUMI head at your own discretion, you can build flexible lines for your production Condition, from high-speed mass Production to multi-product small-lot production, without changing the line layout.
This is a next-generation flagship placement that offers high-speed production and compact-design, as well as high-efficiency production with the industry-leading feeder count of 160 and smartphone-like monitor displays.
LX-8 is a newly created JUKI SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS※4certified product.

※1 Planet head P20S: Our design: A rotary head with a mechanism that performs pick-up and placement of components through rotational movement.
※2 TAKUMI head: Our name for the in-line head. This mechanism operates by picking up and placing components with a recognition unit that adjusts to the component height. It features an original technology that eliminates inefficiencies.
※3 Speed when two Planet head P20S units are performing component placement.
