   JIAM 2016 OSAKA was held for four days from the 6th (Wednesday) to 9th (Saturday) of April at INTEX OSAKA. The 11th JIAM was an international trade show in which 258 companies from 15 countries and regions participated under the theme of "Innovative Solutions & Advanced Processing Technology".


   JUKI took part in JIAM 2016 with the concept of "JUKI Smart Solutions - Innovate Your Business -". JUKI displayed 91 units of industrial sewing machines and 68 units of household sewing machines (totally 159 units of sewing machines) using the largest space (175 booths in 1,575 m2) among those of all exhibitors. The JUKI space was divided into six zones and three sections.

  JUKI took part in JIAM 2016 with the concept of "JUKI Smart Solutions - Innovate Your Business -". *"One-stop Line Solution" presents the sewing-related products (JUKI Solution Partners) to be used in preceding processes of sewing, etc. to assist not only sewing processes but also the line solution of sewing plants.

    

  In the digital sewing system zone, examples of use of the full digital sewing machine DDL-9000C which actively responds to changes in sewing items and materials and "system linkage by means of IoT" were demonstrated.

 

  In the non-apparel zone, JUKI products were displayed while dividing them into four product groups such as car seats, furniture, sports shoes and bags according to applications. Operator-friendly solutions were introduced by demonstrating the most-advanced technologies and new sewing system such as the instrument-panel 3D sewing system and the machine-head turning type program-sewing machine.		    

  In the apparel zone, value-added high-quality shorter-thread remaining type sewing machine was displayed with the demonstration of a shirt sewing line and automatic sewing line was displayed with the demonstration of a jeans sewing line.

  

  The knits zone was divided into two sections according to applications such as sportswear and foundation. Knits line solution products were displayed including the partner products. Tried-and-trusted JUKI semi-dry type equipment as well as assembly-line composing machine such as a boding machine that might be a substitute technique for a sewing machine were introduced.
