How to find the model number
About the Model Nameplate
The model nameplate displays information such as the model name and serial number.
Model Name： Indicates the name of the model. Please refer to this name when using the Essential Parts List.
Subclass： A code that indicates whether the machine is for light- or heavy-weight materials, and whether it includes optional devices. Even if the model is the same, the required parts may differ depending on the subclass.
Manufacturing Number:： Indicates a number used for production management.
Location of the Model Nameplate
- The nameplate is located on the front, back, or side of the sewing machine.
- On certain automatic machines, multiple nameplates may be attached.
In such cases, although multiple nameplates may be attached, make sure to refer to the one on the table for the model name. - On some models, the model name may be directly engraved under the operation panel or on the machine frame.
