Between April 8 and 11, 2008, the 18th NEPCON China 2008 Show, the largest SMT mounting equipment exhibition in the central China region, was held at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center. The number of visitors during the exhibition period increased to 16,255 persons this year, showing the strong degree of interest in SMT equipment in China, which is becoming the center of the electronic circuit board manufacturing industry.
At this year’s event, ＪＵＫＩ’s local subsidiary, TOKYO ＪＵＫＩ INTERNATIONAL TRADING (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD., introduced a variety of exhibits with a full lineup of ＪＵＫＩ mounter models including the High-speed Modular Mounter FX Series that realizes high productivity in a small space. In particular, the display corner showing the latest models offering greatly improved throughput was visited by large numbers of guests each day and was highly praised.
Throughout the period of this year’s highly successful exhibition, the number of requests for catalogs and inquiries reached two times the number at last year’s event, which we believe shows that many visitors appreciate the new progress made by ＪＵＫＩ as a pioneer in modular mounters. In the future, ＪＵＫＩ will continue to offer sales and support activities in China that closely match the regions, and will keep striving to improve satisfaction for each customer.
